Coming soon is the 10 week series to find out who will be 'The Recruit', the one lucky guy who will win be guaranteed place on an AFL Club's roster. This winter, FOX8 brings you into the locker room and onto the field as we search the country to find the next big thing. Former AFL player and Coach, Mick Malthouse, has signed up to be Head Coach and will be joined by former Hawthorn champion and FOX FOOTY commentator Ben Dixon as Assistant Coach, Port Adelaide's world class fitness guru Darren Burgess as High Performance Coach; and accomplished sports administrator Leigh Russell as Mind Coach. With every episode this series, these sporting heavyweights will put the Recruits through their paces, both physically and mentally, with additional guest stars who will appear throughout the series imparting knowledge and skills. The series will culminate in a live finale in which an AFL Draft will be held, where one player will be granted the opportunity to turn a dream into reality overnight with a guaranteed spot on an AFL clubs list.

The Recruit - Private (rank) - Netflix

A private is a soldier of the lowest military rank (equivalent to NATO Rank Grades OR-1 to OR-3 depending on the force served in). In modern military parlance, “private” is shortened to “Pte” in the United Kingdom and other (Commonwealth of Nations) countries and to “Pvt.” in the United States.

Once recruits complete their Basic Military Training (BMT) or Basic Rescue Training (BRT), they attain the rank of private (PTE). Privates (列兵) do not wear ranks on their rank holder. PTEs who performed well are promoted to the rank of Private First Class (PFC). The PFC rank insignia is a single chevron pointing downward.
